These terms apply to this website and to the transport, protection and logistics services Via Maiora Group provides. Booking a service with us means accepting them.

Requests and confirmations

Sending a request through this website is not a confirmed booking. Your journey is confirmed only once our dispatch team replies to you with the details and the rate. Rates shown or discussed before confirmation are estimates and may change with the route, the waiting time, tolls, parking and any extra stops.

Our partners

Some services are carried out by vetted partner companies rather than by our own vehicles and staff. This includes journeys outside our own service areas, crew and group transfers across the United States, coaches, armored vehicles, private jet, helicopter and yacht charter, international destinations, and container shipping. Each partner holds its own licences, permits and insurance for the work it performs. Via Maiora Group coordinates the service and remains your single point of contact.

Cancellations and changes

Please tell us as early as you can if your plans change. Cancellation terms depend on the vehicle, the service and the notice given, and are confirmed with your booking. Vehicles that must be reserved in advance, such as coaches and armored vehicles, usually carry stricter terms because they are held for you.

Waiting time

We track flights and allow a reasonable period of complimentary waiting time on airport pickups. Waiting beyond that period, and waiting on other journeys, may be charged. The applicable terms are confirmed with your booking.

Passenger conduct

Passengers must wear seat belts where fitted and follow the chauffeur's instructions on safety. Our chauffeurs may end a journey where a passenger behaves unlawfully or puts anyone's safety at risk. Any cleaning or repair caused by a passenger may be charged.

Luggage and belongings

Luggage capacity is limited by the vehicle. Please tell us how much luggage you have when you book so we can send the right vehicle. We take care of your belongings, but items left in a vehicle remain your responsibility; contact us straight away and we will do our best to recover them.

Protection services

Protection services are provided by licensed specialists, and the scope of each engagement is agreed in writing in advance. Police-escorted convoy support can be arranged only where the engagement qualifies and the relevant authorities approve it; it cannot be guaranteed.

International shipping

Shipping of vehicles and household goods is arranged through our shipping partner. Transit times are estimates and depend on sailing schedules, customs and port handling, which are outside our control. Customs duties, taxes and port charges at the destination are the client's responsibility unless we have agreed otherwise in writing. Items that are prohibited or restricted for export or import cannot be shipped.

Delays

We plan carefully and build in time where we can, but traffic, weather, road and airport closures, security measures and other events outside our control may cause delay. We are not liable for losses caused by events beyond our reasonable control.

Liability

We carry the insurance required for our operations. Except where the law does not allow it to be limited, our liability for any booking is limited to the amount paid for that booking, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses such as missed flights, missed meetings or lost business.

Payment

Payment terms are confirmed with each booking. Institutional clients such as airlines, missions and hospitals may be set up with a monthly invoicing account.

The text, design, photographs and logo on this site belong to Via Maiora Group or are used with permission, and may not be copied or reused without our consent. We keep the site as accurate as we can, but details such as vehicle models and service areas may change.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York.
